About Eric Kern...
My name is Eric Kern and I am a touring and studio session drummer, playback engineer, and music director based in Orange County, California.
My excitement for drumming was evident from a young age. When I was just seven years old, I graduated from banging wooden spoons on pots and pans to playing drums at a small church in Grants Pass, Oregon. Throughout school, I pursued the drumline activity that later led to my involvement as a snare drummer for the Concord Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps.
Since moving to Southern California, I have been fortunate to be a part of numerous tours, performances, and recording sessions with many amazing artists including Big Time Rush, Daya, AJ Rafael, La Santa Cecilia, and Tori Kelly. In addition, I also served as the Music Director for Saddleback Church for ten years in Lake Forest, CA.
Though the platform changes, my desire remains simple: to bring my creative best to each situation I encounter. I would love to work with you to bring out the best in your music while staying true to your unique sound.
